I always have liked to use 1Co 15:3–4 and 1Pt 3:18 in talking about the Gospel.
The greatest example I can think of for sharing the Gospel with kids is the story of a bus driving with a bunch of kids whose breaks go out. He has to go down a hill and through a fence, or else they'll hit a wall and everyone with die. But sitting on the fence is his only son, just chillin'. Of course the bus driver has to sacrifice his son to save the busload of kids. And you know me... I'll jazz the heck out of that story to really get the kids' attention.
Peace Out...
Who remembers Cooper from Washington, Ind. camp?
